Sales Manager

Purpose of the Role:

  • Client facing sales hunter with experience in selling IT Products and Solutions for the Government and Private enterprises.
  • Selling high value solutions to C Level stakeholders and to/with partners.
  • Studying the market of the given segment by analysing the present business scenario, plan business goals by revenue, number of logos to be added, new business won, cross selling and farming. Would be a pure hunter and an Individual Contributor role.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development of Business plans & sales funnel for the Industry Specific/SBU Specific Solutions
  • Responsible for achieving set targets of segment i.e. Revenue & DSO
  • Responsible for identifying & creating new solution opportunities or add value to the existing solutions based on market requirements.
  • Develop local strategy for Indian Market in alignment with the overall strategy to come out with Industry specific/SBU Specific solutions
  • Work closely with Industry Head and SBU to study and analyse market, customer, competition of the said industry and generate business plan
  • Formulate/suggest an implementation plan for the above
  • Bring visibility of the existing solutions of Industry/SBU to the markets and target the right clients/customer base.
  • Analyse the range of our offerings in the segment of business and suggest the ways in strengthening it further based on the implementation plans.
  • Work with industry heads and SBU to streamline initiatives to achieve business plan and to work on long term plans.
  • Ensure building of key industry relations & development of business
  • Analyse billing data and financials – analyse deviations from plan and shortfalls and reason for the same and recommend and initiate action.
  • Create pipeline dash board to map the progress and provide critical inputs to the Industry Head & SBU Head to take corrective actions.
  • Channel feedback to the Product organization for continued product enhancement and new development needs, including for customized solutions.

Experience & Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience in selling Software/Digital/ Technology solutions to Private and Government sector
  • Proficient in working on large tenders/RFPs
  • Proven experience in complex solution-sales approach – “consultative selling”
  • Knowledge of business development in PSU’s, Smart Cities and Institution Sales will be an added advantage.
  • Experience shall include sales of Enterprise Products and Services like Digital solutions, Cloud applications, SAAS, AI, System Integration, Mobility and other point solutions in various delivery models including Waterfall, Agile and SAAS.
  • SI or a Technology partner in large scale turn key projects for Corporate or government organizations

Qualification:

  • BE+MBA or any Graduation
